Redefining what's possible for Yabatech students.

When I was a student at Yabatech, I walked the campus every day without ever seeing a single tech event that made a student stop and think, “I could do that.”

After graduation, I watched too many brilliant course mates drift into internet fraud. For a lot of them, Yahoo looked like the only conceivable way out of poverty, simply because nobody had ever shown them another road. They weren’t born corrupt or lacking ambition—they simply couldn’t see anything else on their horizon.

“Tech was never the narrow path. It was an opportunity nobody put in front of us.”

On March 13, 2027, our objective is to fill the Multipurpose Hall with 1,500 students. They won’t just hear generic motivational speeches; they will listen to candid, unvarnished stories from individuals who navigated the exact same environment and built legitimate careers and companies. Most importantly, every student will walk out with access to free structured courses so they can immediately begin building verifiable skills.

The vision is far bigger than one event. We want Yabatech students to permanently stop seeing Yahoo as their default escape route and start aiming at tech. The next founders of Paystack, Flutterwave, or Moniepoint could very well be sitting right in that hall.
